Global Forest Goals Report 2021
Stefan Jung • 2. August 2021
Despite the global Covid-19 pandemic the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs published in last April a new report on global forests. There is an urgent need in worldwide sustainable forest management as well as in an increase of total forest areas.

According to the new global forest report: ... "some 1,6 billion people worldwide depend directly on forests for food, shelter, energy, medicine and income."
Because of the pandemic and worldwide increasing wildfires the development of forests is endangered as never before. For further facts and information, please see and compare: https://www.un.org/en/desa/global-forest-goals-report-2021

In my opinion global forests are very vital for humanities existence.
