Decentralized energy systems are the future

Decentralized energy production and transport to the end-user is more democratic.

Despite the conventional production in big central power plants, decentralized energy is produced locally or not far away from the end-user. The use of fossil fuels is not senseful, because they e.g. mostly come from foreign countries, where the currencies go. This creates dependencies. The use of renewables like solar and wind energy, water power or geothermal energy or bioenergy etc. also in combination with storage systems makes more sense. It contains the ability to democratize energy production and distribution. Even the offshore wind farms are critical, because they are much more vulnerable from attacks in critical times by possible enemies. The more renewable energy we use, the less the effects of critical times on global fossil fuel markets. For example, local and regional jobs can be created. Then there are positive effects for the environment, like carbon dioxide amount reductions, cleaner air, etc. Depending on the size of decentralized energy systems, renewable energy systems must be managed by their operators. In my opinion the use of nuclear energy is not sustainable, from cradle to cradle.
